Bible Survey Lesson 9: NUMBERS 20-36
The Book of Numbers is the fourth book of the Bible, detailing the Israelites’ journey from Mount Sinai to the Promised Land over nearly forty years. It includes two censuses of the people, laws for their community, and accounts of their rebellions against God, highlighting themes of obedience, faithfulness, and God’s mercy. The theme of the holiness of God is continued from the book of Leviticus into the book of Numbers, which reveals God’s instruction and preparation of His people to enter the Promised Land of Canaan.
