It details their battles, the division of the land among the twelve tribes, and emphasizes the importance of obedience to God’s covenant throughout this process. Joshua documents the Israelites’ conquest of Canaan under Joshua’s leadership, following the death of Moses. It highlights God’s faithfulness as the Israelites claim their inheritance.
